InvestMETS in Australia has nominated ThingWave as a finalist for the "2023 Global Mining Technology Awards" in the category "Best New Mining Technology/Innovation".
The 5G-enabled convergence sensor for underground mines is said to “effectively detect the convergence of tunnels and the inclination of walls and other support structures” and provide rapid deformation reports. The wireless sensor is easy to install and move. The data can be visualised in ThingWave Cloud or ThingWave RealMine3D.
We are happy to see that ThingWave's work with 5G and IoT within the "5G Edge Innovations for Mining" project is getting international attention.
